Sponsoring Smart Account Deployments on Optimism
We’re making Smart Accounts more accessible than ever by sponsoring deployments on Optimism. This means you can activate gas-efficient smart accounts for your users without upfront costs, improving accessibility and reducing barriers to entry.
Rebranding for a More Unified Experience
To align with evolving industry standards, "Ethereum" has been renamed to "EVM Networks", creating a more inclusive branding approach. Additionally, we’ve introduced "UX by Reown", reinforcing our mission to enhance usability across applications.
Sneak Peek: AppKit Checkout & Cross-Chain Transactions
We’re also working on a one-click checkout experience that simplifies onchain transactions. This upcoming feature will enable users to finalize purchases with a single approval, leveraging Reown’s chain abstraction to combine assets across networks effortlessly.
Luka Isailović, our Web Team Lead, just shared a first look at AppKit Checkout, a next-gen payment experience that seamlessly integrates into apps. If you’re following his Twitter, you’ve already seen the smooth, intuitive checkout flow that’s coming soon. Even bigger news? A new CAIP standard is on the horizon, laying the groundwork for next-level interoperability.
WalletKit: What’s Coming Next?
The WalletKit roadmap for 2025 focuses on developer-friendly integrations, streamlined authentication, and improved cross-chain interoperability. We’re enhancing documentation and rolling out Reown Recipes, quick-start guides designed to simplify implementation.
Chain Abstraction for Flutter
Mobile developers, this one’s for you! We’ve expanded WalletKit’s chain abstraction capabilities to Flutter, making it easier to build multi-chain mobile experiences with minimal effort. Check out Alfredo Rinaudo's, our Flutter Engineer, the latest demo to see it in action!
Solana Chain Abstraction, coming soon!
We’re deepening Solana integration within WalletKit’s chain abstraction layer, making multi-network interactions seamless across EVM, Bitcoin, and now Solana. This brings smarter asset routing and better UX for developers building Solana-native apps.
Looking Ahead
The March 2025 UX Roundup highlights our ongoing efforts to refine the developer experience.
With each release, we’re making it easier for builders to create seamless, secure, and scalable blockchain applications.
Stay updated with the latest advancements, and as always, we welcome your feedback to continue improving Reown AppKit and WalletKit.
