New demo, who dis?

In case you missed it, Reown’s “AppKit Demo” is here, and it makes integrating AppKit into your application ridiculously simple. With just a drag and drop, you can fully customize your setup; colors, fonts, layout, login methods, features, and chains, all tailored to your project’s needs. It’s easy to use, and makes integrating a breeze.

Developed by our Software Engineer, Enes Öztürk, the demo lets you see exactly what it’s like to add AppKit to your app. And soom, we will have made it even better by supporting more chains and allowing users to disable chains for network-native projects. Try the AppKit Demo today.

Enhance UX with social wallet connections

Reown AppKit has introduced a powerful new feature in its January release: Enhanced analytics provides apps with powerful user insights. This means apps can now better understand user profiles, and make informed decisions about their future product developments. Developers can simplify onboarding by using social wallet connections for easy account creation and authentication, while also enabling smarter interactions by tailoring recommendations based on a user’s profile. This release bridges the gap between social identity and blockchain activity, marking a significant step in improving web3 usability.

User management, but better:

Additionally, the January release of Reown AppKit takes user management to the next level with the launch of a hosted auth backend for Sign-in-with-X (SIWX) and built-in analytics.

Here’s what this means for you:

  • Quickstart: You can focus on building your app’s actual backend and leave authentication to us
  • Connections: Track authenticated users over time to understand engagement trends
  • Geographic distribution: See where your users are located, with detailed country-level insights.
  • Wallet analytics: Identify the most commonly used wallets among your user base.
  • 30-day history: Access historical data from the past 30 days for a clear picture of user behavior.

Sneak Peek: 1 click-checkout

Our CTO, Derek Rein, has teased an exciting new feature in the works: 1 click-checkout. This game-changing addition simplifies the checkout experience for users logged in with Reown AppKit by streamlining e-commerce checkout experiences between apps and wallets.

Here’s how it works:

  • When purchasing a product, an e-commerce website may choose to send relevant information such as the SKU, price, fraud insurance policy, etc, to the user’s wallet via wallet_checkout.
  • All the user needs to do is press “Checkout” and approve the transaction whilst selecting the tokens they want to use to fund this transaction.
  • That’s it! No extra hoops, no unnecessary steps.

But that’s not all.

Short on funds or using multiple tokens? No problem!

Thanks to Reown’s Chain & Stablecoin Abstraction, 1 click-checkout becomes even smarter. When your user approve a transaction, Reown Chain Abstraction will automatically be in play:

  • It will analyze your users wallet balance across multiple networks.
  • Combine available tokens to meet the required amount.

For example: If you have stablecoins spread across different networks you can use them all as one unified balance. No need to leave the application to exchange or bridge funds, it's done there and then on your AppKit and/or WalletKit modal.
